Once upon a time we used to be all looking for some Fun-activities with loved ones – until Technology stole all our Leisure Time! A Great way to Bond is to play some Partner or Group Games with 2 or more Friends or Family! Especially during the Holidays or on a Vacation!
And when one is forced to stay Indoors for any reason, especially on a Rainy or Snowy Day, what better than a Game of Cards?
So here is a Card Game for
Groups which is sure to

you to Spend Some Fun-time
especially with Older Kids!

Jodidaar or Partner
- This game is played in Teams of 2.
- If there are 4 players, two teams are formed and they sit facing each other, on opposite ends of the table.
- Before the game begins, each team decides a secret signal to give to the other member in case they have four of a kind [FOAK-4], like:
- A simple facial cue like scratching one’s nose, winking, smiling, yawning (something one is likely to do unconsciously and should avoid doing it until needed).
- Snapping of one’s fingers.
- Each player is dealt 4 closed cards [that they can pick up].
- The dealer picks one card from the deck, and has the choice of either keeping it or passing on the unwanted card to the next player, and so on.
- If everyone rejects it, the dealer takes a fresh card from the middle.
- This goes on until someone makes four of a kind [FOAK-4].
- In this case, that player must give the signal to his jodidaar [partner] that they have made a set and that partner has to shout “Signal”.
- If this is a legitimate set, they win and if the partner misreads the signal, they lose.
- If a member of the other team notices this signal and claims it, and it was a legitimate signal, the other team wins.
